In recent years, Catalonia has become one of the leading bioregions in Europe in biomedical research. Given both the area’s scientific production and centres of excellence, we can say that research in the health arena has been consolidated as one of the pillars of the country.
Although all research is an important driving force for change and generating knowledge, biomedical research has a unique, crucial component: it is patient orientated.
The Daniel Bravo Andreu Private Foundation aims to promote patient-centric biomedical research by acting in several different fields (cardiology, oncology, neurodegeneration, etc.) in order to serve the public by generating knowledge that can cure illness or alleviate suffering
NOTE: The DANIEL BRAVO ANDREU PRIVATE FOUNDATION does not directly attend to the sick or patients, nor does it carry out direct research into illnesses. Consequently, it cannot respond to questions of a medical nature or with medical content.
