The suffering of a sick person is not just the hurt and pain that may affect organs or body systems. Suffering is also linked to the worries and fears of losses that may be produced in the real or imaginary world becoming therefore a legitimate concern about his or her future as a human being.
We believe, therefore, that patients, not diseases, are the centre of medicine and should be the guide for Health Care Systems.
The Daniel Bravo Andreu Private Foundation is engaged in encouraging partnerships and collaborative work between Patient-organizations and Hospitals in an aim to alleviating the suffering of patients and their families.
NOTE: The DANIEL BRAVO ANDREU PRIVATE FOUNDATION does not directly attend to the sick or patients, nor does it carry out direct research into illnesses. Consequently, it cannot respond to questions of a medical nature or with medical content.
